Justin and Vanessa are long-time friends of ours. I’m so happy that after years of all of us living away from New Mexico, we’ve all seemed to find our way back. The last time Justin, Vanessa, and their daughter Kinzee were on the blog, little Egan was newly growing in Vanessa’s belly. You can check out those photos here.

I was so excited to photograph them again, now as a family of four.

I first met Sean and Kayte in April when I photographed their grandson Declan as a newborn. Since then, they have been nothing but amazing! This time, I has the chance to photograph them and three of their daughters. We broke it up into three separate sessions last week and I had a blast at each one. Here’s a few from each session.

Melonie is an old friend that has quickly become a “new” friend. Melonie and I grew up going to the same church, but have recently become good friends. Not only is she a good friend, she’s also the amazing hair and makeup stylist that I’ve used for my high school seniors and my upcoming boudoir clients. She’s pretty awesome!

It was a joy for me to capture her and her son, Preston, along with her boyfriend, Aaron and his two kids, Aiden and Chloe.

Sara is an old friend from church who I haven’t seen in years. When she asked me to take photos of her family, I was thrilled! It’s always great to see old friends. Sara, Greg, Zaylyn, and Zamyyah live in Australia now, and they wanted to get photos of their girls with their extended family while visiting the States.

The Weeks Family

A couple weeks ago, I gave away a free session on the blog. Julia and her cute family were the winners. We met in this pretty field last weekend for a quick family session. I’ve known Julia since we were both little and it’s lovely to see marriage and motherhood treating her so nicely these days.

There’s a little bit of a story behind this session. I contacted Laura recently to see about getting some photos of Haley and me to celebrate my first Mother’s Day. Laura is an awesome photographer and I knew I would be pleased with the results. Well, we met up and did the photos and I’ll be posting those here on the blog on Sunday.

In exchange for the beautiful photos Laura took of me and my girl, I photographed her family. I spent an early Saturday morning at the bosque with Laura, Justin, Addison, and Sutton. What a cute, little family!

Laura – I sincerely hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do. You four were a joy to photograph!

Travis, Quinn & Marshall {Engagement/Family}

I was so happy to meet Travis, Quinn and their sweet little boy, Marshall, on Saturday. We met in the Foothills of Albuquerque for an engagement/family shoot. It was super sunny and warm. I’m loving this weather!

I was so exited when Vanessa asked me to take some photos of her and her husband Justin and their daughter Kinzee. I was even more excited when I found out that they are expecting their 2nd child now, too! It was so much fun taking these announcement photos that she was able to share with friends and family to announce the pregnancy.

Justin and Vanessa – Thanks for allowing me in on the secret and for letting me capture these sweet moments of your growing family. I pray that God continues to bless you all. I can’t wait to see the new little addition in 30 short weeks!
